The Rotary Club of The Sandhills is proud to announce our 2026 Trade Industry Scholarship recipients. Five students were awarded scholarships of up to $2,000 each to pursue certifications at Sandhills Community College this fall.
This year’s recipients are:
– Luke Atkins (agriculture) – North Moore High School
– Fernando Rebollar Colin (electrical) – North Moore High School
– Ed De la Cruz (electrical) – North Moore High School
– Nathalie Hernandez-Jimenez (construction) – North Moore High School
– Nicholas Cameron (electrical) – Union Pines High School
These scholarships cover tuition, books, fees, and certification costs, providing a pathway to careers in construction trades, the automotive industry, and manufacturing.
